Mixing high-viscosity formulas under atmospheric pressure traps ambient micro-bubbles inside gels and heavy lotions. Entrained air ruins product clarity, falsifies net-weight container fills, and creates unsightly voids in consumer packaging.
High-shear dispersion generates intense internal friction heat. Without dynamic jacket cooling and precise thermal profiling, delicate active ingredients—such as peptides, vitamin C derivatives, hyaluronic acid, and natural botanical oils—denature or lose bio-activity.
Switching between heavily fragranced, pigment-rich cosmetics and sensitive hypoallergenic formulations requires deep cleaning. Dead legs, unpolished weld seams, and poor vessel drainability trap residues, risking microbial contamination and crippling line availability.
Subjecting sensitive carbomer networks, natural gums, or polymer thickeners to excessive shear breaks down polymer chains. Over-processing permanently destroys intended gel body and thins out target rheology beyond recovery.
We specify cosmetic processing equipment constructed from high-grade 316L stainless steel featuring internal mirror-polish finishes (Ra ≤ 0.4µm).
